November 10, 2004

Dear Diana,
I had orchestra yesterday. Great fun, that! Today we were supposed to have a lesson (we always have one on Wednesday, and today is Wednesday). Here is the script for a normal night (for us).
Daddy: We need to get to bed, we need to get to bed!
Me: I'm going, I'm going!
Xander: Watch this grind! (does a skateboard trick with a board from the beach)
Daddy: Walk on my legs.
Me: No. (goes to brush teeth)
Anselm: I'm going to jump on you!
Daddy: So yeah... blah bah blah (talking)
Anselm: I'm going to jump on you!
Daddy: Shut up.
Anselm: I'm going to jump on youuuuu!
Daddy: (to Mom) We really raise the monkey house, don't we.
Talia and Anselm: (thinking that's an insult) Waaaaahhhhh!
I guess I better stop. More later.

Kitty

I realize it might sound weird for my dad to want people to walk on his legs, but he likes the massaging feeling, because he sustains many sports-related injuries.
