July 10, 2005

Dear Diana,
Goodness! This is the last page of my journal! I wonder what I'll use for my next one. I'm pretty sure we have a singing today. And now I know! See now sophisticated I am? I'm using purple ink. I think we're going to Oceanside next week. The scum wave should have cleared off by then. Xander is nagging at me to put this in the C.P.R.C. when I'm done with it. Here in this house is a coat closet. Just normal, but it goes way back, and that's our clubhouse for XMTA meetings. That's where we keep the C.P.R.C. I'm on the orange sofa, writing, but different sofa, different house... same journal! Diana, I'll be seeing your fair countenance, though the mists of time separate us. Translation: See ya later, alligator!

Dear Diana,
We had omelettes, bread (fresh-baked), and hot corn, with peach cobbler for dessert. Today was the Sabbath. Dad asked me what the date was, and I got it wrong! Pressure. We have a singing tomorrow. I'm not excited, but I have a wild hope that it might be fun (a little). A singing can't be all that fun. I think next month is a recital for my teacher's students. I'm hoping I can go. I think I'll play Gavotte by Rameau. Hope you'll come. I have no TKD tomorrow. Yay!

P.S. That last line was completely irrelevant. I wrote it for no reason whatsoever.

Dear Diana,
I cleaned my room, and I'm sleeping in it now. Our free week of no Kicks is over now. Too tired to write more. Bye.

Dear Diana,
As I was saying, you really are playing the Moonlight Sonata? I think that is like the hardest piece I've ever played. La Mariposa is nice too. I'd rather be called Kate today. Diana, do you know of any English operas? We were wondering. I had my lesson today, then I went to SIMS (volunteer pharmacy organization at Loma Linda University). Sorting drugs is the most mind-numbing task ever. I like to think I did my country a service! Bye.

Dear Diana,
You scamp, you! I think if you leave your music home, you should ask for another copy. Of course, if they're out, you should do what you did– share. Are you really playing the Moonlight Sonata? Oops, bye!

Kitty

P.S. No light! So don't worry about the lines.

Dear Kitty,
We had orchestra today. My stand partner, Alice, lost her music, and I didn't bring mine, and they had no more copies, so I had to share with Tempestt, and Alice had to share with Elektra. As those girls both had stand partners, it was three to a stand– twice– on La Mariposa and the Moonlight Sonata. Enough about orchestra. You said you lved Sergio1 at TKD. I also do (I bet more than you). Would you rather be Kitty or Kate? Don't call me Dee-Anna, if you please. When that mistake is made, I always say, "All you need to remember my name, is to think of Artemis, the goddess of hunting in Greek mythology. Her other name is Diana, and I was named after her. Die-ana, and she kills animals on the hunt." See ya around!

Dear Diana,
Sorry about the short entry yesterday, but I forgot all about writing until I was in bed. Then, I had to get out and scribble furiously 5 words, 4 numbers, and 2 slashes. Then I had to run back into bed. Anyway, today is July 4th, so we had hamburgers, corn, and ice cream (soy cream too). It was a great day, and we're now in Loma Linda getting ready for bed. Another day tomorrow. Diana, I don't know what I'll do what I'll do when this is filled up. I only have six pages left. I hope I can find my Ada diary soon. Then I can see you there!
