Dear Diana,
I'm trying hard to have "delicate perfectly formed letters." Oh, this is such a pain! Must I?! We, as in Mommy and me, are having a concert next week. It'll be great (I say without enthusiasm). I am writing a story about "Poplar," a girl violinist, and "Elektra" and "Colton." Even little "Josephine" has a part. Here's an excerpt:
Skawwk! Poplar winced. She hated it when her little brother Colton tried to play her violin. She hated it, and he knew she hated it. That's why it always occurred: "So, Poppy, you want me to have a go?" Poplar didn't, but she didn't get a chance to say so. Colton snatched her violin and bow and naturally, it sounded awful.
Pretty good, huh? I am reeeeeeeally good at making up stories in my head, but I can't write them on paper. Daddy's going to have fits if I don't go now, so...

Kitty
