Dear Diana,
Guess what? We're on Normandy Lane! We finished moving today, and here I am. Upstairs, actually, near the bannister. Yes, I'm sitting on the floor. Anselm squished my favorite clay doll that I brought from Ada. Her name was Falcon. Oops, I said I would tell about HER today. So here goes. At sparring, we did 3-angle-strikes* and of course us kids were put in a group. That was fine. The problem was that we were monitored by, surprise surprise, HER. She almost made me cry. I thought, "Don't be a goody-goody crybaby. It's only HER." But I almost did anyway. I also got in trouble for not grinning broadly (WHAT?!) and mumbling something derogatory. Just for the record, all I mumbled was "Yes, sir." Do you know the Kid Sparring story? Maybe I'll tell you later. Hint, hint, it involves HER. I really should be unpacking, but I can't fight the urge to write more. I practiced myself today. It was cool, but I'm not sure whether or not my next practice will suffer. Guess what, Diana? The eagerly anticipated Mead series is out. I'll draw them (albeit badly) pictures of them here.
