Dear Diana,
Sorry for not writing, Golden One. I'll truly try to get daily updates for the Rere Show. (Rere is my nickname) Anselm's being awful' mean to Hazel. Mom and Dad are kind of atypical people. They never let us be interested in pop culture. Mom won't even buy me a bra! I still manage to get some from magazines, but it's not sufficient. Let's see. I like Paris Hilton (don't tell a soul) and Julia Roberts. I don't know about actors at all, so I can't say. I hate Jessica Simpson. She's a bimbo. Jennifer Lopez is all right. Someone or other had a baby named Apple. What a name!

P.S. Britney Spears is awful. I detest her. She can't even sing well!

To clarify: I said some mean things about the people, but I'm pretty sure I didn't mean it personally.

Dear Diana,
Guess what! Mister Blair is involved in a scandal! It seems he embezzled a lot of money. He might have to go to jail! Or else he'll have to quit his job. Now his brother is in jail, and he talks about him a lot, and how he might join him.
I'm reconciled to not ever buying a bra till I'm 17 (or get my drivers' license, whichever comes first). I wish... But... Hmmph. However, I do have one bra that we got in Ada. Actually, Talia did for the interest value, and luckily, it fits me. I wear it sometimes. I do wish I could get a new one (or two or three) though.

P.S. Mr. (Benjamin) Blair is a man at work.
P.P.S. I have too many freckles. I wish I had lemon juice and cold cream.
P.P.P.S. No, it's NOT for boys.

Dear Diana,
When in doubt, you don't have to think; a glass of water is the thing to drink! – Xander. You could certainly say that now. It's raining cats'n'dogs, and the wind is blowing something fierce. We just had our candy, and the taste is playing trampoline in my stomach. Maybe I shouldn't have had that special King Sized white chocolate peanut putter cup. Xander is playing with my Bop It toy that I got for my last birthday. Anselm is horrible. I just cannot stand much more. Sometimes I hate my little brother.

Molpadia

Just a note: Molpadia was the villain of my Amazon stories, and she was a huge meanie and stuff, so the fact that I signed my entry as her shows how bad I felt about saying that I hated Anselm (which, I of course didn't, it's just how sibling relationships are, especially when one is four years old and the other is barely ten).

Dear Diana,
Today was my birthday. One of my presents was a blank little book. This morning, Mom said I should write more, keep a secret notebook. Express myself, she said. (I make up wonderful, beautiful stories in my mind, but I don't write them down) So I have a nice new book, and a lot of nice other stuff.

Dear Diana,
Happy new year! Talia is practicing, and Xander just came back from getting the 'Facts (newspaper). Actually, there wasn't any paper. I have to practice soon, so I'll write quickly. My birthday is in 8 days. I'm excited! Apo will come, and we will all be here. Oh yeah, Uncle John is in San Francisco. He will come for a visit on Tuesday.

Deimos

P.S. I can't get that stupid song out of my head, you know, the one that goes, "I met her on a Monday, and my heart stood still! A-do-run run run, a-do-run run run..."
